History of Innovative Financing

  • Raised a combined ~$3.5bn debt across 8 issuance since January 2017 from offshore capital markets.
  • Raised more than USD 1.5 Billion through closure of nonconvertible debentures (NCDs).
  • First Indian renewables IPP to raise USD 475 million Rupee-denominated “masala” bonds.
  • Got a USD 600 million, 23 year debt line for Solar projects from OPIC.
  • Issued the first longest tenor (7.25 years), high yield bond by any Indian renewable energy company. These bonds would be first to be listed exclusively on the India International Exchange (IFSC) Limited (India INX), which is India’s first international exchange in International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) located at the Gujarat International Finance-Tec City (GIFT City).
