While people assume a clean energy company to be sustainability-focused, we go the extra mile to ensure that the ideals of sustainability and ESG are thoroughly ingrained in the way we operate. For us, it is all about creating a better company, a better society and a better planet, for one and for all.
With a well-defined ESG strategy and roadmap, we are paving the way to achieve various sustainability targets, including achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, aligned with the objectives of COP26, by tracking and mitigating greenhouse emissions (Scope 1 and Scope 2) throughout our operations.
We are signatories to various global agreements…
- Terra Carta, an initiative by the Prince of Wales to involve the private sector in creating a sustainable future
- UNGC Ten Principles, which commits us to integrating environmental, social and governance considerations in our functioning
- IWN Women Empowerment Principles, helping us create an inclusive and gender equitable workplace
Supply Chain Sustainability
We have rolled out guidelines to ensure that our vendors and suppliers also comply with the ideals of sustainability, in a bid to ‘green’ our supply chain and extend the boundary of our sustainability practices beyond our own operations.
At ReNew Power, we are committed to building a positive relationship with our employees, stakeholders, society and the planet to create long-term value. For us, it is an imperative to embed sustainability within our business planning, as we look to do our bit to mitigate impacts of climate change.
