Under the ambit of its ReWIN program, ReNew Power is working in rural India promoting Self Help Groups (SHGs) as a tool to empower women, to facilitate their participation in decision making process in economic, social and political life and also access resources. As part of the program, capacity building and mentorship platform are created for rural women to guide them to establish their own enterprise and in-turn create employment opportunities at the village level.
Under our Diversity initiative, the Power of W program, launched in November 2016, aids in the personal and professional development of women ReNewers, to help them grow in the organization. In the past year or so, Power of W has taken some noteworthy initiatives like Recruit HER (to increase representation of women in the ReNew family), organize and conduct Workshops & Roundtables with thought leaders and role models; partner with Vedica Scholars Program to nurture budding women leaders
