ReNewer's Day 2019

 

The ReNew Power family got together to celebrate the annual ReNewer’s Day event on the 6th and 7th of February, 2019 at the Orana Resorts and Convention Centre, Gurugram. All employees, including our colleagues from the various project sites participated in this 2-day event with great enthusiasm and excitement, to make it a grand success. The importance of this event continues to grow each year, as the company expands in size, adding new members and crossing new milestones, in its journey. It is an occasion for all our employees to interact with each other, get to know and appreciate the contribution that others are making and also renew their pledge towards making our company a global leader when it comes to efficient production of clean energy for a better planet.

The event was spread over 2 days with the first day being dedicated to presentations by senior leaders. Our CMD outlined our focus areas for the coming year followed by informative sessions on our ever expanding scale of CSR activities and gamut of employee engagement programmes under the banner of Reejoys. The day ended with a TED TALK styled address by Varun Sivaram, our CTO, who spoke on the latest technological advances in the renewables sector and the impact it is likely to have. On the 2nd day, after an insightful review of our performance by our Chairman and Managing Director, it was time for music, dance and revelry as ReNewers displayed they could be equally coordinated and zestful on the dance floor.

Interspersed with the excellently choreographed dance performances was the much anticipated rewards and recognitions bestowed on our top performers. Post this, it was time to soak in the soulful renditions by our celebrity performer, as the curtains came down on ReNewer’s Day 2019, amidst high energy and revelry. Yet another ReNewer’s Day came to a conclusion, as we took time to reflect on the year gone by and set fresh benchmarks for the year ahead, resolving to push ahead in our quest to establish ReNew Power as a world class organization.
